2nd SIMA Congress – Dr Fraidakis Presentation

Dr. Mattheos Fraidakis, the scientific director both of Chania Fertility Unit and Crete Fertility Centre, attended the 2nd SIMA congress, which was held in Heraklion, Crete, on November 21–23, 2025.

The Heraklion Medical Association and the Famagusta Medical Association were the organisers of the Congress, inspired by the first recorded reference to a physician from the Minoan era (ΣΙΜA) found on a Phaistos jar in the 17th century BC.

The topic of “Health and Family Planning: The Role of the Family in the Development of Children” was presented by Dr. Fraidakis on Friday, 21/11, in the high-profile segment of the conference HEALTH AND QUALITY OF LIFE IN CANCER PATIENTS while there was also a backstage interview with more detailed references to his interesting topic.
